Turkey, Roasting Tips

Roasting instructions: For the best results, place turkey, breast-side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Brush with melted butter. Roast, uncovered, in 325-degree oven until internal temperature of breast meat reaches 165 degrees. (Note: Temperature of thigh should be 175 to 180 degrees.) If you don't have a thermometer to test for doneness, wiggle end of drumstick; it should move freely. Or prick skin at thickest part of thigh with tip of a knife; juices should be clear and no longer pink.
