Beef Madras


Ingredients:

 

Heat the oil in a saucepan over a moderate heat and fry the onion and beef for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion is softened and the beef browned.
Add the Madras curry powder and fry for a further 1 minute. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to the boil and simmer for 1½ hours or until the beef is tender.
